Automatic DEFRO AKM boilers are equipped with a heat exchanger whose elements - those exposed to fire - have been made from boiler steel of thickness of 8 mm. The boilers can operate with a piston fuel charger, which passes fuel onto a grate. The fuel-charging drawer has a reinforced construction, which is secured by means of replaceable elements made from stainless steel; movable elements move by means of bearings, which increases their life as well as ensures quiet and uniform work.
The charger furnace is equipped with a secondary air blow-in system, which increases effectiveness and stabilizes the fuel combustion process. Additionally, the combustion chamber is equipped with ceramic catalysts thanks to which gas is burnt out and the combustion process becomes even more ecological. Additional cast iron substitute grate enables combustion of fuels such as wood or coal of thicker assortment. It also allows for using the boiler in emergency cases. Location of cleaning holes makes the boiler simple and comfortable to use. Standard equipment is an ash container and a cleaning tools set as well as adjustable legs and the solution allowing for dual-side door installation.

Boiler’s advantages:

	5-year warranty for heat exchanger tightness, 2-year warranty for other elements and efficient operation of the boiler;
	the exchanger has been made from certified boiler steel ( P256GH type) of thickness of 6-8 mm, delivered by the following steel plants: Arcelor Mittal Poland S.A, Kraków branch and U. S. Steel Košice s.r.o.;
	high thermal efficiency, up to 87%, thanks to increased heat recovery from flue gas;
	big combustion chamber with a piston fuel charger, reinforced fuel-charging drawer;
	stable and quite work thanks to the eccentric drive transmission mechanism and full bearing of the fuel-charging elements;
	programmer cooperating with 4 pumps (central heating and hot utility water, circulatory, on the floor, with output for a room controller), and with the possibility of controlling mixing valves*
	automatic water system for quenching fuel, includes a thermostatic valve*;
	replaceable secondary grate made from high-quality heat resistant cast iron;
