Defro Akm Uni

The construction is based on DEFRO AKM boilers equipped with the innovative APPS UNI trough burner. The boiler retained all advantages of the basic model. Exposed to fire elements of heat exchanger have been made from boiler steel of thickness of 8 mm. The combustion chamber has been equipped with ceramic catalysts stabilising the combustion process and making it more effective and efficient. The DEFRO AKM UNI boilers cooperate with the APPS UNI fuel charger, which allows for using many types of solid fuels such as fines, pea coal, pellet or grains. Additionally, the boilers have been equipped with a cast iron supplementary grate allowing for using other fuels and start-up of the device in emergency cases.
The boilers have been equipped with elements increasing usage safety including dual protection against fuel ignition in the charge container and an automatic water system – FIRE-FIGHTER. Upon request, the charge container can additionally be equipped with a lamp increasing the comfort of usage.

Boiler’s advantages:

	5-year warranty for heat exchanger tightness, 2-year warranty for other elements and efficient operation of the boiler;
	the exchanger has been made from certified boiler steel ( P256GH type) of thickness of 6-8 mm, delivered by the following steel plants: Arcelor Mittal Poland S.A, Kraków branch and U. S. Steel Košice s.r.o.;
	high thermal efficiency over 88%;
	bottom combustion chamber with a highly-effective trough burner;
	fuel-container opening sensor;
	programmer cooperating with 4 pumps (central heating and hot utility water, circulatory, on the floor, with output for a room controller), and with the possibility of controlling mixing valves*
	automatic water system for quenching fuel, includes a thermostatic valve*;
	replaceable secondary grate made from high-quality heat resistant cast iron;
