The DEFRO Calorii Plus pellet boiler is a high-performance heating appliance designed for energy-efficient and environmentally friendly heating of single-family homes and other buildings.

Calorii Plus meets the requirements of Class 5 emissions and the Ecodesign Directive, making it eligible for subsidy programmes such as the “Clean Air” programme.

Its design is based on the combustion of 6 mm wood pellets and provides an efficiency of up to 92.9%. This solution reduces the emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere. The model is equipped with automatic functions and operational safety systems.

The appliance uses a pellet burner with an automatic cleaning function, allowing it to operate with minimal user intervention. The standard automatic ignition system enables fully automated start-up and shutdown.

The boiler is equipped with an APC K SLIM controller supporting ADAPTIVE CONTROL technology. This system dynamically adjusts the combustion parameters to the current operating conditions, ensuring optimal fuel consumption. The PID function and weather-compensated control improve user comfort and energy efficiency.

Integrated hopper and heat exchanger design

The model features a built-in pellet hopper with a capacity of 90 kg. This allows longer operation without frequent fuel refilling. The solution is particularly suitable for small boiler rooms, where space efficiency and installation convenience are important.

The heat exchanger is designed as a horizontal multi-pass system with fire tubes and economisers. Turbulators increase heat recovery from the flue gases, improving the overall efficiency of the appliance and reducing energy losses.

Compatibility with modern heating systems

The boiler can be installed in both open and sealed heating systems, provided that appropriate safety devices are used. Its compact design and integrated components make it easier to incorporate into domestic heating systems.

Eco-friendly heat source compliant with future requirements

Compliance with Ecodesign standards and the A+ energy efficiency class confirm the model’s low-emission performance. The appliance is characterised by low operating costs and a reduced environmental impact.
