The EKOPELL MAX 100-250 boilers are designed for burning biomass in the form of wood pellets with a diameter of 6-8mm and for co-combusting seeds, husks, and grain with a diameter of up to 30mm.
The fuel feeding system consists of two screw fuel feeders, each driven by separate geared motors. Between them, there is a bulk feeder with an intermediate fuel inlet channel equipped with a fuel level sensor that detects whether fuel is accumulating in the feeding system. Furthermore, the system is protected against flame backflow with a flame extinction system using BVTS valves connected to the water supply network. An advantage of the fuel feeding system is the ability to set the upper screw feeder for fuel at any angular configuration relative to the lower screw feeder, allowing for the installation of the boiler in smaller boiler rooms.
The biomass combustion burner is equipped with a built-in air-blown igniter for the automatic ignition of the fuel using a blast of hot air. It is also equipped with an independent primary and secondary air supply system. Air is supplied by blowers, separate for primary and secondary air, and their operation is electronically regulated. Additionally, the burner is equipped with a collecting ring designed to prevent unburned fuel from spilling into the ash pan.
EKO MAX boilers with a power range from 100 to 250 kW are equipped with a water-fueled emergency burner with side fuel loading. The combustion chamber is equipped with air nozzles, and the air for the combustion process is supplied by an electronically controlled air blower.
In the boilers, there is an option to install an automatic pneumatic cleaning system for the tubular heat exchanger, provided that the emergency fuel-powered ash removal system is waived. The EKOPELL MAX boilers are safe and user-friendly. They feature maintenance-free ignition and automatic extinction based on the set parameters. Furthermore, they allow the use of various types of fine fuels, including agricultural waste materials. The solutions employed in the boilers ensure clean and cost-effective fuel combustion. The technical solution for the burner and the fuel feeding system in EKOPELL MAX boilers has been submitted for patent protection at the Patent Office. The boilers meet all the requirements of the revised PN-EN 303-5 standard.
