The DEFRO actuator is designed for automatic regulation with a mixing valve. Although each valve has manual regulation, the automatic operation mode allows you to precisely adjust the valve position resulting from the actual temperature measurement. The use of actuators with DEFRO mixing valves allows for smooth control of these valves, and thanks to cooperation with the boiler controller, they can be fully associated with other parameters of the central heating boiler settings. Actuator in the central heating installation it can also be controlled outside the boiler by connecting an independent valve operating module: DEFRO I-1 or DEFRO I-1M. It is worth noting that the valve actuator is universal, as it can be used in both 3- and 4-way valves, and the valve diameter (1” or 5/4”) does not matter, because the actuator is universal for most mixing valves. Connecting the actuator itself to the valve does not require tools, and installation is performed by sliding the actuator onto the valve (alternatively, when installing previous generation actuators to valves, a mounting adapter is used).
