Defro mixing valves are used to regulate water flow at specific temperature proportions in the heating installation. Due to the type of connection to the installation, these valves are classified as 3-way or 4-way. A simple division also occurs in the sizes of connection diameters, where Defro offers typical diameters of 25 mm (1”) and 32 mm (5/4”).

Mixing valves are offered as ready-made solutions for installation. The valve is adjusted manually using a knob placed directly on its body. A major advantage is an additional solution that allows the valve to be adapted to automatic operation by equipping it with an electric actuator that will independently manage the valve’s position in the installation, while ensuring that the desired temperature ranges are maintained.

  • Protection of the boiler against low-temperature corrosion – guarantee of maintaining a higher temperature of return water from the central heating system.
  • Reducing the deposition of condensate and the phenomenon of “tarring” of the boiler exchanger.
  • Maintaining a constant boiler temperature, which extends the life of the central heating boiler.
  • Faster heating and increased boiler efficiency.
  • Less fuel consumption.
  • Temperature stabilization in the installation.
  • Possibility of equipping the mixing valve with a Defro actuator, allowing for automatic adjustment of the opening degree (operation control via the boiler controller).
