The Defro DHP Monotec heat pump is an air-water heat pump with a monoblock structure. This means that the complete refrigeration system is located in one housing – in an external unit mounted outside the building. To facilitate connection of the pump, it is equipped with an installation box installed inside the building, containing a controller responsible for the cooperation of components and communication with the user.
The DHP Monotec heat pump is designed to obtain heat from atmospheric air and transfer it to the building to meet heating needs.
It is intended for heating water in the central heating system and domestic water. The device can also provide cooling in summer (reverse operation). Monotec DHPs operate in a closed heating system using an expansion vessel that compensates for pressure changes in the hydraulic system resulting from temperature variability of the specific volume of the heating medium (heating water). DHP Monotec are designed to power pumped central heating and hot water installations. They also have the ability to produce chilled water for water cooling systems.
